2008 End of Year Prize Money Categories

(Two ways to win in each category)

Rules & Stipulations for End of Year Prize Money
1) Children may only compete in the Child category.
2) Adults may only compete in one category. (Trainer or Adult)
3) Everyone may compete for both Elmington Points and High Point within a category.
4) Trainers showing themselves may earn Elmington points in Trainer category.
5) Only the Trainer’s students’ performances count toward the High Point Trainer category.
6) Elmington Points are accrued one point for each class regardless of placing including paid Warm-ups.
7) High Point categories are based on: 1^st=5, 2^nd=3, 3^rd=2, 4^th=1 (no additional points awarded for Champion & Reserve)
8) Anyone disqualified for any reason at anytime during a show or the series is not eligible for prize money.
9) Anyone owing any money to Elmington is not eligible for prize money.
10) Any ties will be split and divided as warranted. (ie: If the top two Trainers have the same number of Elmington points, the 1^st & 2^nd Place money will be added together and then divided equally between the two Trainers. If the tie occurs in the last place of a category, the money will be divided equally.)

Jackpot Prize Money

Rules & Stipulations for Jackpot Prize Money
1) Jackpot money will be paid back in each Division or set of Divisions at each show.
2) There must be at least six judged entrants in each class of a division for points to be earned towards the jackpot
3) The Divisions cannot be combined to reach the minimum six entrants for the jackpot money. Each Division must stand on its’ own. (ie: Pony, Child, Adult)
4) All like kind Divisions count towards the jackpot. (Pony, Child, & Adult points count towards the Pleasure Division jackpot)
5) If one like kind division has qualifying entries and another does not, the money will be paid out among the qualifying entrants. (ie: Pony Pleasure has 8 entrants, Child Pleasure has 10 entrants, and Adult Pleasure has 3 entrants-only the Pony & Child Pleasure will receive paybacks)
6) Any ties will be split and divided as warranted. (ie: If there are 3 people with 13 points and 1 person with 11 points, the payback would be : The 3 people with 13 points each get $30 and the person with 11 points will receive $10. This reflects adding the first three payback levels and dividing by the top three point earners. The fourth place remained true in this example.)

Division Prize Drawings in All Divisions at All Shows
Rules & Stipulations for Division Drawings
1) Prizes in each Division are awarded by random drawings.
2) In order to qualify to be in the drawing an entrant must compete in all three classes in a division.
3) Only one division prize can be won by an entrant at each show.
